Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation's vital infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will support the NOC engineering team administratively, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
  3. Process Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Update customers on network incidents.
  8. Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
