Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts dedicated to making a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical work that ensures the nation's infrastructure remains connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, assisting in incident resolution according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  8. Collaborate with utility companies during power loss issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
