Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
