Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical work, helping to keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Liaise with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who you are:

You have previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
