Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making a significant impact. The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to support groups and service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with relevant teams and providers.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
