Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and resources.
  • Update customers on network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
