Job summary

Involved Solutions is seeking an experienced NOC Service Design Specialist to support a critical government client in Milton Keynes. The role designs and transitions services into a 24x7 NOC, aligning with ITIL and ITSM best practice.

You will define the service operating model, develop SDPs, outline 2nd/3rd line requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust service designs. SC clearance is essential; DV clearance desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have ITIL/ITSM experience and strong documentation skills.
• Experience designing services for 24x7/NOC environments is required.
• SC clearance is essential; DV clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain service management processes aligned to ITIL.
• Develop Service Design Packages (SDPs) and support transitions to live operation.
• Define 2nd/3rd line support requirements and 4th line on-call duties.
• Collaborate with programme and technical teams to translate requirements into service designs.
• Identify gaps in monitoring and tooling and advise improvements.
• Support integration of incident and warning processes within the NOC.
• Provide day-to-day task management for first-line NOC resources.
