Job summary

MSV is seeking a versatile No2 Mechanic to join the Brands Hatch Engineering team. You will assist with maintenance of our high-performance fleet, including single-seaters and rally-spec cars, within a small workshop and team environment.

The role requires a good grounding in mechanical engineering and a valid UK driving licence. Weekend work is on a rota basis, with opportunities to progress and further training in a busy race and events setting at MSV circuits.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence held
• Willingness to work weekends as part of a rota
• Track record of meeting strict deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist with thorough inspections and maintenance of high-performance vehicles
• Ensure vehicles are maintained to correct specifications
• Collaborate with Engineering team to locate and fix issues efficiently
• Contribute to large-scale rebuilds within the Engineering team
• Process paperwork in accordance with procedures
• Clean vehicles inside and out after work
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
