Qualifications

• Expérience en tant que Technicien No 1 ou No 2 dans une équipe de rallye.
• Capacité à interpréter les spécifications de construction pour un setup complet.

Having won two of the last three Rally Raid events, including their debut in Morocco, the Dacia Sandrider team seeks talented Technicians to join their quest to win the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1+ category. As the driver’s No 1 Technician, you will ensure the car, spares, and equipment are prepared on time and to high standards. You’ll become part of a close-knit team and will need to establish rapport and trust quickly. The role requires extreme stamina, work ethic, and drive for results. Worldwide travel, up to 3 weeks per event, is an essential part of this role.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the team of Technicians at the factory and on event, ensuring the car preparation is to the highest standard and on time.
2. Ensure the car is always to the correct specification.
3. Perform on-event and workshop maintenance as required.
4. Keep the Chief Technician informed of any additional work necessary on a car during build or repair.
5. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to meet quality and performance targets and develop team members.
6. Carry out other duties as requested by management.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a No 1 or No 2 Technician within a Rally team, with strong ability to interpret build specifications of a full car setup. You should follow build and operational procedures accurately, be a team player, and communicate effectively with teammates, engineers, and management. Good attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to work overtime are essential.
