The role involves overseeing model strategy, managing model tuning, and ensuring optimal detection quality. Qualifications

• Advanced degree required, preferably a Master’s or PhD.
• Experience in financial services or FinCrime settings.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and calibration of models for NLS and TS systems.
• Perform data exploration and statistical analysis.
• Document model logic according to governance standards.
• Own model projects from requirements to implementation.
• Support agile delivery with developers and QA teams.
• Monitor model performance metrics for anomalies.

Skills

Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline

Experience developing models in financial services

Experience in model development or risk analytics

Expertise in AML transaction monitoring (preferred)

Experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

Hands-on experience in SQL and Python

Education

Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or Statistics
