Job summary

Theia Insights builds foundational financial intelligence products, delivering industry classification and factor risk datasets for institutional investors. As a Data Engineer on the Data Products team, you will own end-to-end pipelines ingesting NLP and financial data, producing TIIC and TFMs for downstream consumers.

Qualifications

• Strong production Python experience.
• Datasets in Pandas and Parquet/Arrow; analytical engine (e.g. DuckDB) or data warehouse (Snowflake).
• Experience designing and running orchestrated batch pipelines (Dagster/Airflow; S3-based data flows).
• Applied ML in production: embeddings, semantic similarity, clustering, operationalising models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines classifying global public equities across a five-level taxonomy.
• Run large-scale NLP and LLM inference over company documents with batch execution.
• Ingest market data and publish datasets to external distributors.
• Own schema and contract evolution for datasets with downstream consumers.
• Collaborate with economists and engineers to translate modelling decisions into production data.
