  • Registered General Nurse, Registered Midwife or Registered Children's Nurse
  • Degree in nursing/health related or working towards it. Evidence of recent continuing education.
  • GCP training
  • Management and leadership Training
  • Educated to Masters Level or substantial equivalent experience
  • Post registration teaching qualification or relevant experience

  • Management qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
  • Significant experience of clinical research within NHS settings and specialties at Band 7 or above
  • Experience managing a team and handling staff performance issues
  • Knowledge of national healthcare and clinical research policies, standards, and frameworks, including early phase trials
  • Experience collaborating with external stakeholders
  • Experience delivering specialist training
  • Proficiency with software for reporting, data analysis, and management
