Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Highbridge site. You will operate a Powered Pallet Truck, load and unload vehicles, and use WMS and Zebra scanners to receive, locate, pick and dispatch stock.

The role runs on a 4on 4off night rota (20:00–08:00). We value accuracy, teamwork and proactive reporting to support efficient warehouse operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• PPT licence or proven practical experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Powered Pallet Truck to support daily warehouse operations.
• Load and unload vehicles during day-shift operations, ensuring safe handling of goods.
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Zebra scanners to receive, locate, pick and dispatch stock.
• Replenish, consolidate and rotate stock and perform stock checks and basic reporting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace and report defects promptly.
• Complete essential paperwork and follow all warehouse procedures.
