Pay Rate: Up to £40,000 Basic + 20% Night Shift Premium

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager (Nights) to play a vital role coordinating and managing the warehouse activities on a shared user site to ensure that service standards meet customer agreed performance criteria.

You will take operational leadership and responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to achieve operational standards and meet the agreed service level agreements for our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety First Culture by applying and improving the Safety Standards
• To be a 21st Century Manager leading the nights warehouse operations, managing a small team of First Line Managers and Team Leaders.
• Communicate objectives & KPIs applicable to your team, ensuring that service standards are achieved to meet agreed performance targets
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and manage non-conformances.
• Act as the site responsible person for night shift, providing an escalation point for both warehouse & transport colleagues.

• Demonstrated leadership at mid-to-senior management level, with a strong ability to lead teams and drive operational performance
• Proven management experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong track record of promoting and ensuring Health & Safety compliance and standards
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a proactive mindset and strong focus on quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
