As a Nightshift Support Worker at our Rosewood Court service, you'll be at the heart of that mission, providing hands-on care and emotional support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in day-to-day life at Rosewood Court, where your support makes a real difference. This is a varied, rewarding, and physically active role that involves:

  • Personal care: including showering, bathing, changing, toileting etc
  • Practical care: feeding support, assistance with drinks and medication
  • Daily living: laundry, cleaning, general house maintenance, and completing daily notes
  • Relationship-building: offering emotional support and helping to create a calm, homely environment
  • Behavioural support: engaging in personal safety techniques where required and working in line with individual risk assessments

  • Work calmly and confidently in a service that may involve incidents of behaviours that challenge
  • Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to keep everyone safe
  • Provide practical care with warmth, kindness, and dignity

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with the people we support

You don\'t need previous experience, just the right values and a commitment to making a difference.

Training and Support

All new staff will receive full training on personal care and positive behaviour support, including how to safely use personal safety techniques in line with our organisational training.
