A leading care organization in Scotland is seeking compassionate Nightshift Support Practitioners to assist individuals with disabilities in their daily activities. This is a full-time position with three 12-hour shifts per week. No experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, and applicants must demonstrate a caring nature and strong communication skills. The role includes engaging clients in their hobbies and providing personalized support.
Our fabulous Cumnock team are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Nightshift Support Practitioners.
This is a full time post consisting of three 12hr shifts a week.
You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.
However, due to the needs of the service we can only consider female applicants who have a valid driving licence and access to their own cars.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we’ll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.
