Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Experience in smart repair or spray painting required.
  • Must have an excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for paintwork including masking.
  • Carry out minor damage repairs.
  • Polish to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
  • Mix paint to apply to vehicles.
  • Apply paint products correctly and to a high standard.

Skills

Smart repair/Spray painting experience
Excellent eye for detail

Willingness to work on own initiative

Job description

We offer our Nightshift Smart Repairers:

  • Up to £47,500 OTE plus benefits
  • Additional opportunity to earn up to £9,000 every three years inperformance-based bonuses – terms and conditions apply
  • Motorstore, Warrington
  • Monday - Thursday 7.30pm - 7am, 44 hour working week
  • Salary review twice per year

About the role

As a Smart Repair technician, you’ll carry out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard.

The right person for the job will be energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and excellent people skills. What’s more, you’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.

Day-to-day duties

  • Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
  • Carrying out minor damage repairs
  • Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
  • Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
  • Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard

Essential skills

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Smart repair/Spray painting experience
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to work on your own initiative
