Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nightshift Replenishment Supervisor to manage one of our busy branches. This challenging role requires leadership and drive as you coach your team to deliver great on-shelf availability for our valued customers. Keeping your team focused on delivering excellent results and working safely will be key. The role may involve some duty management, for which full training will be provided.

There are real opportunities for progression across the Booker Group, with many Supervisors advancing into Store Management roles.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the team complies with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
  2. Reducing stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage.
  3. Reducing replenishment costs by ensuring stock is handled efficiently, products have appropriate space for their rate of sale, and security in the goods receiving department.
  4. Working with stock control and delivery teams to resolve causes of off-sales.
  5. Effective replenishment to maintain product availability for customers.

To be successful, your skills and experience should include:

  1. A passion for providing exceptional operational standards for customers.
  2. Flexibility, adaptability, and enjoyment in managing a team.
  3. Excellent communication skills and some supervisory or management experience.
  4. Practical experience in the food retail trade.
