Job description
Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Night Production Manager to join our in-house Production Kitchen at our Knightsbridge site.

As a Night Production Manager, you’ll take ownership of leading our overnight manufacturing operations, ensuring that production schedules are met with precision, efficiency, and the highest standards of quality. You will oversee a team of supervisors and operators, working closely with departments such as Food Technical and Health & Safety to maintain seamless production flow. This is a role where you’ll balance the practicalities of planning and resource management with the responsibility of upholding our exacting food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards. You’ll play a key part in the successful launch of new products, driving operational improvements through effective use of KPIs and embedding a culture of continuous development across your team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead overnight manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met with accuracy and quality.
  • Oversee a team of supervisors and operators; collaborate with Food Technical and Health & Safety to maintain seamless production flow.
  • Balance planning, resource management, and safeguarding food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
  • Drive operational improvements through KPI use and embed a culture of continuous development across the team.
  • Support the successful launch of new products and initiatives.
About You

You’ll bring proven experience in leading manufacturing operations, ideally within food production, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improvement. As a natural leader, you’ll be confident in managing performance, coaching, and developing your team to excel in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

You’ll also have:

  • Strong knowledge of quality, health and safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in production management systems and tools (SAP desirable)
  • A flexible, organised approach with great attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to Harrods values
