The Role

1. Build the UK's clean energy future by working within the MEH Alliance to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
2. Translate engineering documents into fabrication plans, selecting appropriate tools and equipment.
3. Cut, shape, and assemble steel plates and components.
4. Install and join plate and structural materials.
5. Perform burning, grinding, and other fabrication tasks.
6. Complete tasks assigned by supervisors, ensuring work meets or exceeds specifications.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience using fabrication drawings to develop plans and select tools and equipment.
• Experience in plating, using tools and equipment to cut, prepare, shape, fabricate, and assemble steelwork.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plating, Fabrication, Welding, Structural Steelwork, or Shipbuilding, or ACE Card - Level 3 in Plating.
• CCNSG Safety Passport.
