Looking for manufacturing jobs in Thanet? We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Moulding Operator to join our team on our night shift. This role involves operating moulding machines in accordance with specific Work Instructions, and where required, finishing, assembling, and packing moulded plastic components to meet our high-quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate moulding machines correctly and safely, maintaining costed and set cycle times.

Monitor production output to ensure all components meet the required quality standards.

Pack components using the correct packaging materials, ensuring accurate labelling.

Use knives, grinders, and secondary operation equipment safely and correctly.

Accurately record production information and maintain documentation.

Follow proper start-up and shut-down procedures for machines.

Assist in the training and development of other operators.

Collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.

Observe all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with 5S housekeeping standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure smooth and effective handovers between shifts.

Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned.

Full-Time Hours: 37.5 paid hours per week

Annual Leave: 22 days of annual leave, plus all bank holidays

Located in Ramsgate, Kent, our 11,000 sqm manufacturing site boasts 18 injection moulding machines ranging 35 to 1,700 tons and 11 blow moulding machines ranging 10 to 200 litres.
