Job summary

Guidant Global is recruiting for a Nightshift Lineside Engineer based at Airbus in Broughton. The role supports production activity, working with the Autonomous Production Team to resolve shopfloor technical issues and keep manufacturing moving efficiently.

You will identify and analyse issues, provide end-to-end shopfloor perspectives, and help unblock production while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in technical/manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Ability to analyse issues and implement practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with production teams and support functions.

Responsibilities

• Support production team in identifying, analysing and resolving shopfloor technical issues.
• Assist with NC identification, creation and follow-up.
• Provide input to complete NC forms for containment and corrective actions.
• Prepare and enrich technical documentation related to assembly anomalies and rework orders.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment/process documentation for efficiency.
