Job summary

Guidant Global is recruiting a Nightshift Lineside Engineer to support Airbus production at Broughton. You will work with the production team to identify and resolve technical issues on the shopfloor, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations.

The role requires NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, strong problem-solving, and good documentation skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety on the shopfloor.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
• Experience in technical, manufacturing, production or engineering environments.
• Ability to analyse technical issues and support practical solutions.
• Strong communication with production teams and support functions.
• Structured, detail-focused approach to documentation and work orders.
• Continuous improvement mindset and focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the production team in identifying, analysing and resolving technical issues on the shopfloor.
• Assist with identification, creation and follow-up of Non-Conformities and NC notifications.
• Provide input to complete NC forms with containment and corrective actions.
• Prepare and enrich technical documentation related to assembly anomalies and rework orders.
• Search for and provide relevant drawings, references, parts, tooling and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying issues, inefficiencies and waste reduction.
