Job summary

Greenhous DAF Birmingham is seeking a skilled, motivated Night HGV Technician to join our expanding after-hours workshop team. You will service and repair HGVs and trailers, ensuring maximum uptime and safe fleets on the road.

You will diagnose faults, complete MOT preparations and maintain DVSA-compliant documentation, working nights with independence and pride in quality workmanship. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience on HGVs; DAF experience is advantageous.
• Class 1 or 2 licence desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, reliable and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete MOT preparations and inspections.
• Ensure all work is in line with DAF and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work independently during night shifts while maintaining high productivity.

Greenhous DAF Birmingham is now seeking a skilled, motivated and reliable Night HGV Technician to join our expanding, high-performing after-hours workshop team. You will play a key role in maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime, minimising downtime and keeping fleets operating safely and efficiently on the road. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, demonstrates strong attention to detail and is committed to providing exceptional service at all times. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above and below, the successful candidate may be required to undertake other duties as necessary to support the ongoing needs and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
