Job summary

InPost UK is seeking Nights Warehouse Operatives to join the Aylesham team. You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse operation that keeps parcels moving across the UK.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork and flexibility to cover night shifts within a busy depot environment. As part of a growing network, you will contribute to reliable parcel handling, relabelling, and loading activities while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels: sort parcels accurately and quickly for onward transport.
• Relabelling and preparing parcels: ensure correct identification and placement.
• Manual and machine sorting: operate sorting equipment as required.
• Loading and unloading vehicles: handle parcels with care for road delivery.
• General warehouse duties: keep area safe, tidy, and productive.
• Working as part of a team: collaborate with colleagues to meet targets.

Whether you're handling parcels, coordinating routes, or managing depot operations, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels: Playing a key role in our fast-moving distribution process, sorting parcels accurately and quickly so that everything runs smoothly and leaves the depot on time.
• Relabelling and preparing parcels: Bringing accuracy and attention to detail as you relabel parcels and prepare them for the next stage of their journey, making sure each one is correctly identified and goes where it should.
• Manual and machine sorting: Getting hands-on with manual sorting, or operating state-of-the-art machinery, depending on the needs of the shift. Either way, you'll be helping to keep our workflow efficient.
• Loading and unloading vehicles: Handling parcels with care as you load and unload vehicles, so they're ready to hit the road and reach our customers in good condition.
• General warehouse duties: Taking on a variety of tasks around the depot, keeping your work area safe, tidy, organised and productive for you and your colleagues.
• Working as part of the team: Pitching in alongside a supportive, energetic team and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment where people help each other get the job done.

• Reliability and commitment to night work: This is a full-time role any 5 over 6 nights, so you'll need to be able to work these shift times consistently.
