Job summary

Castell Howell Foods Ltd in Cross Hands is seeking Nights Warehouse Operatives for 20 hours per week, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays or Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, from 19:00 to 00:00. You will be picking and packing orders using our voice picking system with full training provided.

You should be a team player, detail oriented and physically fit, with basic literacy and numeracy. Benefits include a competitive salary, pension, staff discounts, free meals and parking.

As a Nights Warehouse Operative, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and products. Our Nights Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the accurate and timely picking and packing of customer orders using our voice picking system. Duties include:

• Picking of goods from despatch according to picking procedures and KPIs
• Administration of picking documents as appropriate
• Ensuring all routes are picked correctly and efficiently in line with the company load planner
• Ensuring products picked are of saleable quality in accordance with company policy, Health and Safety and quality
• Ensuring the correct labelling of all orders for despatch
• Compliance with Health and Safety and Hygiene legislation

Don’t worry if you are new to the field as full training will be provided but you should be:

• A team player who can also work independently
• Someone who shows attention to detail
• Consider yourself physically fit
• Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Be prepared to work in a cold store at -18 °C (full protective equipment is provided)

You will be required to work 20 hours per week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 19:00 to 00:00.
