Nights Train Cleaner
Based in: Newton Heath Depot, Manchester
Contract: 6 Month initial contract with the opportunity to join on a permanent basis
Pay Rate: £13.05p/h
Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies (currently operating 464 stations, the most of any TOC in the UK), who are seeking to recruit a Nights Train Cleaner to join the train cleaning team at Newton Heath Depot, Manchester. Ganymede Solutions are a stock market recognised recruitment agency, specialising in the transportation, infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors on both permanent and contract basis.
The company covers the whole of the North, which includes the Northeast & West of England, Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as the occasional part of the East Midlands and Staffordshire. As a result of this, they have a large fleet of trains - 333 to be precise, so it's safe to say you will be active & busy with your role!

The Role:
The Nights Train Cleaner role will cover all aspects of interior cleaning on the trains. You will be carrying out a full clean on the interior of the train, which means you will be cleaning everything from the roof of the train to the bottom of the train, within public view. The duties you will be carrying out will include:
Hours wise, you will be working on a 14-week rotating shift pattern, which works on a 4 on 4 off/4 on 3 off/5 on 3 off basis. The hours of work will always be 20:45 - 05:30.

Pay Rate & Benefits:
The pay rate for the Nights Train Cleaner position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.
