Overview

Transport Supervisor - Nights at Hams Hall. Shift available: Sunday to Thursday Nights, 21:00 - 06:00. Salary: £32,947.76.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Transport Manager with a range of key responsibilities, including driver allocation.
  • Process driver wages and holidays.
  • Monitor drivers' daily activity, including unauthorised stops, and ensure paperwork is completed fully and accurately.
  • Assist with agency bookings, costings, and spend, while ensuring agency disclaimers are completed and filed correctly.
  • Print, explain, and obtain signatures for driver infringements.
  • Input and monitor driver working time and driving time directives in Excel.
  • Support driver electronic pad training.
  • Book vehicle inspections and MOTs both internally and externally.
  • Report defects, RTAs, and near misses.
  • Order site fuel.
  • Collaborate with peers across the transport network to deliver excellent customer service.
Who We're Looking For
  • An experienced and proactive Transport Supervisor with strong organisational skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in transport supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A solid understanding of drivers' hours and relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly with colleagues and drivers.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with transport management systems (desirable, but not essential if you are eager to learn).
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative and target-driven mindset.
