An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Maternity Practitioner for a unique night-time role. This position involves caring for two children, including a non-verbal autistic child, ensuring they are settled during the night. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience and relevant qualifications such as a 12-hour First Aid certificate and an enhanced DBS check. Role: This is a unique position for Nights only, the family are asking for Waking nights. The 2 children are in good routines but the eldest (G4) who is non-verbal autistic, does wake occasionally and needs to be settled back to sleep. The youngest (G18m) is unlikely to wake but they need the Maternity nurse to help with both children at bedtime and breakfast.
This role is to support a very welcoming family. There is a separate floor for the nanny to stay whilst on duty. They have had help in the past, but unfortunately their current Maternity Nurse is leaving due to ill health.
Job Start Date: 5th May 2025
Job End Date: 30th September 2025
Location: Hampstead Gardens, London
Suggested hourly rate: £25ph Gross
Hours of work: 7pm – 8am (13hrs)
Days required: 3-4 nights a week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
