Job description

Due to internal development, we have a vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Position Details:

  • Full time, 24/5 site, Monday to Friday, 10am - 6pm
  • Location: Nantwich
  • Salary: £48,000-£53,000 per annum, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Planned preventative maintenance tasks in line with the schedule
  • Emergency breakdown repairs
  • Follow up on tasks from PPM and order spare parts as required
  • Ensure compliance with health and food safety standards at all times
  • Carry out dynamic risk assessments daily
  • Maintain and improve hygiene and housekeeping standards
  • Ensure production lines operate in optimum condition
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment
  • Use and maintain the CMMS system
  • Develop and upskill where applicable
  • Work on a variety of kit
  • Ensure equipment is ready at shift start

Skills & Experience:

  • Trained to Level 3 with relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND) or equivalent work experience
  • Basic knowledge of food production lines/process machinery within FMCG/food industry
  • Proficient in PC use (Word/Excel)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement and lean methodologies
