A leading UK homecare provider is seeking Complex Care Assistants in the Leyland area to deliver outstanding care. Candidates will assist with various medical tasks for a young girl with Battens disease. The role requires at least 6 months of care experience and a full UK driver's license. Excellent pay rates and ongoing training are provided, along with 24/7 office support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for a young girl with Battens disease in her home.
  • Assist with PEG feeds, suction, nebulisers, and monitoring.
  • Attend hospital visits as needed.

Job description

Here at Alcedo Care, we are looking for Complex Care Assistants to provide outstanding care within the Leyland area, with full training will be provided by our in-house Complex Care Team.

PART NIGHT SHIFTS - FULL UK DRIVERS LICENCE REQUIRED

Excellent rates of pay with £14.00 to £14.50 Per hour, with weekly pay days + holidays + pension! This equates to a rolled up hourly rate of £16.16 - £16.74!

Complex sit for a young girl with Battens disease around the Leyland area, providing care for the individual in their own home, which is fully adapted to their needs. All shifts will be a 2 – 1 basis.

Our Complex Nurses are looking to build a permanent team to support, this would be assisting with -

• PEG FEEDS
• SUCTION
• NEBULISERS
• SATURATION MONITORING
• OBSERVATION MONITORING
• SEIZURE MONITORING
• MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION VIA PEG
• PERSONAL CARE

• ATTENDING HOSPITAL VISITS WITH MUM

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:

• At least 6 months Care within a UK care setting
• A full UK drivers licence with access to your own vehicle
• Ideally experience working within Clinical Complex Care, but this is not essential as we will provide you with full training.
• Highly empathetic with excellent motivational and nurturing skills.
