Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Isycoed is seeking a Supervisor to lead a cleaning team. Responsibilities include managing staff performance, conducting audits, and ensuring high cleanliness standards. Ideal candidates have supervisory experience and a background in food manufacturing. Training in COSHH is desirable. This is a four-on, four-off shift role, from 6pm to 6am.

Qualifications

Job description

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
  
  You must have Right to Work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
