Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our Erith, London site on the night shift (22:00–06:30). You will lead a dedicated team, ensure safe and compliant operations, and coordinate resources to meet customer KPIs across inbound and outbound activities.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of Health & Safety in a warehouse, plus experience with WMS systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills with experience organising and leading a shift.
• Experience in disciplinary and grievance procedures (essential).
• Experience using WMS systems.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety within a warehouse environment.
• A good standard of general education with strong written and verbal English.
• Confidence in literacy, numeracy and MS systems, including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Erith warehouse.
• Plan resources around customer demand and support movement of goods.
• Maintain a safe, compliant and secure site; carry out operational checks.
• Carry out Health & Safety audits and vehicle spot checks.
• Support interviews, probation reviews, welfare checks and absence management.
• Escalate operational issues and deviations when required.
