About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and fast-growing importer and distributor of ambient, chilled, and frozen food products, supplying both retail and foodservice sectors across the UK. With a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, they are looking to strengthen their warehouse operations team with the addition of a Night Shift Supervisor.

Job Description

  • Supervising the warehouse night team to ensure KPIs are met in areas such as order accuracy, picking accuracy, and productivity.
  • Monitoring and managing stock movements, including goods out and replenishment.
  • Conducting shift handovers and reporting on performance metrics and operational issues.
  • Ensuring health & safety, food hygiene, and company compliance policies are consistently followed.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
  • Training and mentoring team members, identifying development needs and fostering a high-performance culture.


The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, ideally within a food or FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Good working knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • A current forklift licence (Reach and/or Counterbalance) is desirable but not essential.
