Role Summary

DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into and from the site. They support delivery operations to ensure the correct freight is loaded for delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally at all times
• Follow all manual handling and safety policies, including PPE use
• Adhere to all DX procedures and policies
• Handle freight with care and attention
• Use correct means to access and egress vehicles
• Utilize appropriate equipment and methods for handling freight
• Ensure all deliveries are safely loaded before departure
• Report damages immediately to your line manager
• Verify freight matches paperwork/scanner information
• Transport, store, and treat customer freight with respect and safety
• Maintain security of freight and assets, reporting suspicious activity
• Keep the warehouse tidy and report H&S issues promptly
