Role Summary

DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into and from the site. They also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally at all times
• Follow all DX manual handling and safe working policies, including correct use of PPE
• Adhere to all DX procedures and policies
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
• Use appropriate equipment and methods for handling and moving freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely before departure
• Report damages immediately to your line manager
• Ensure freight matches relevant paperwork/scanner information
• Transport, store, and treat customer freight with respect and safety
• Report any suspicious activity to your line manager or security team
• Keep the warehouse tidy and report H&S issues promptly
