Job summary

The DX Group is seeking Warehouse Operatives in the United Kingdom to unload and load freight from vehicles and support delivery operations on site. You will ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete routes, while representing the company with professionalism.

Candidates must follow manual handling policies, use PPE correctly, and verify that paperwork and scanner data match the shipments. We offer competitive pay and a benefits package including healthcare and pension after service

Qualifications

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPE.
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies at all times.
• Handle all freight with care and attention.
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means.
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight.
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site.
• Report all damages immediately to your line manager.
• Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information.
• Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect.
• Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting any suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues are reported immediately.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading freight from vehicles into the site and vice versa.
• Assist delivery operations to ensure correct freight is loaded for routes.
• Work safely with appropriate PPE and follow DX procedures.
• Record and verify freight against paperwork and scanner data.
• Report damages or issues to the line manager and security team.
