Job summary

The DX Group is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to unload and load freight from vehicles, support delivery routes, and maintain high safety and accuracy standards at the West Bromwich site.

You will represent DX professionally, follow PPE and manual handling policies, and ensure freight is loaded and documented correctly while maintaining a tidy and secure warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and PPE policies
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies
• Handle all freight with care
• Ensure deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving site
• Report damages to your line manager
• Ensure freight matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
• Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and HS issues are reported immediately
• Report any security concerns to line manager or security team
• Support delivery operation to ensure correct freight is loaded for routes

Job description

They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes.,

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPE
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies at all times
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site
• Report all damages immediately to your line manager
• Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
• Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect
• Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting any suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
• Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues are reported immediately
