Job summary

Booker is seeking dedicated Operations Clerks to join our Warehouse Team. As a Warehouse Operations Clerk, you will manage department administration and support day-to-day operational activities, ensuring paperwork is accurate and goods are received properly.

You’ll work with Senior Operations Clerks and Team Managers to communicate information to Warehouse Operatives. This role requires good numeracy and literacy, basic PC skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience within warehouse environments is advantageous.
• Flexible and versatile.
• Able to produce a quality standard of work.
• Good PC and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete clerical functions to keep warehouse activity running smoothly.
• Monitor pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen.
• Investigate back orders, suspended orders and replenishments.
• Handle Proof of Delivery paperwork and receipt paperwork.
• Release orders for checking and liaise with goods in checkers.
• Assist in stock counting and in issuing paperwork as required.
• Undergo training as required and support with daily tasks as needed.
