Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent seeks an experienced VNA FLT Driver for a temporary, full-time night shift at a warehouse in Hanley. The successful candidate will operate a Very Narrow Aisle forklift safely, load and unload goods, put stock away, pick and replenish items, and carry out inventory checks.

A valid, in-date external VNA licence is essential. The position offers ongoing work, weekly pay, and the possibility of moving into a permanent post for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid external VNA licence/certificate.
• Experience operating a VNA forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Flexibility to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operating a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading goods within the warehouse.
• Putting stock away into designated locations.
• Picking and replenishing stock using the VNA truck.
• Carrying out stock movements and inventory checks.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Completing relevant warehouse documentation and scanning duties.
