The Package
Our client is a corporately owned hospital seeking an Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with a passion for Emergency & Critical Care looking for a new challenge or a better work/life balance.
The role involves working 1 week of nights every 6 weeks, with flexibility to combine this with weekend OOH shifts, allowing for a tailored rota to suit individual needs.
This well-equipped two-site hospital offers a varied and interesting caseload, supported by modern equipment. OOH Vets work alongside an experienced RVN during shifts and benefit from the support of the wider veterinary group. The service works closely with the day team to ensure continuity of care and clinical excellence.
The successful candidate will be confident working sole charge, handling non-routine surgical emergencies, and providing high standards of care under pressure. A calm, compassionate approach and a team-oriented mindset are key qualities for this role.
Salary up to £77,000 FTE, dependent on experience.
