Purovets is seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic, independent practice in Hampshire. This role offers clinical autonomy, collaboration with specialists, and opportunities for continuous professional development in a well-equipped facility. Enjoy a competitive salary package, work-life balance, and a supportive team environment.
Night Veterinary Surgeon – Hampshire
Purovets is proud to partner with a vibrant and newly established independent small animal practice in Hampshire, now seeking a passionate and capable Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. This exceptional practice has quickly grown from a 3 person team to a thriving 23 strong workforce, including a dedicated night crew delivering 24/7 care with compassion, expertise, and energy.
This is not just another night role, this is an opportunity to be part of a forward thinking, community driven team where your voice matters. Your wellbeing is prioritised and your clinical interests are actively supported. With RCVS Small Animal Practice accreditation and ISFM Gold Cat Friendly status, the practice is already raising the bar—and they’re just getting started. With plans in motion to expand their surgical suite to include a dedicated orthopaedics theatre and even the possibility of installing a CT scanner, this is a practice on the move.
As a Night Veterinary Surgeon, you'll step into a modern, well-equipped setting supported by visiting specialists in cardiology, orthopaedics, and ophthalmology. Thanks to this collaborative, multi-disciplinary setup, most cases are kept in-house, ensuring you’ll gain hands-on experience with an exciting and diverse caseload. For more complex referrals, you'll have access to trusted referral centres nearby.
You’ll be joining a close knit, progressive team of vets, where clinical freedom is not just promised, it’s practiced. The leadership team actively encourages certificate study and personal development, and they’re happy to invest in cutting edge tools to help you thrive. Recent additions include a top tier portable ultrasound with linear and cardiac probes and the newly delivered Vetscan Imagyst to support rapid diagnostics.
This is the ideal role for a vet who thrives in a supportive yet autonomous environment, values collaboration, and is ready to take the lead on emergency and critical care through the night. If you're looking for a workplace that genuinely cares about its people and is committed to raising standards—not just for patients, but for vets too—this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!
