Job summary

Vetted Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon for a small animal hospital in the London borough of Camden. You will lead out‑of‑hours emergency care with sole‑charge responsibility, supported by a dedicated Night RVN team.

The role offers a 7‑nights‑on, 14‑nights‑off rota, clinical freedom, and access to top‑tier facilities including digital imaging and a CT scanner. A competitive salary up to £75,000 DOE, CPD support, pension, and pet discounts are provided.

The Role

As the Night Vet, you will take charge of our dedicated out‑of‑hours and emergency services. Your main duties will include:

• Delivering high‑standard triage, stabilisation, and emergency surgical care to a varied casework.
• Managing and monitoring critical overnight inpatients.
• Conducting detailed, professional clinical handovers with our daytime team.

About You

• You are an RCVS‑registered Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS).
• You possess strong clinical foundations and feel confident working with sole‑charge responsibility overnight.
• Prior experience or a strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care is highly desirable.
• You are a compassionate communicator who can reassure anxious clients during stressful OOH situations.
