Qualifications

• Qualified RVN with a passion for ECC and inpatient care.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with emergency care is advantageous but not essential.

Job Description

Our Client is a corporately owned Hospital seeking a dedicated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a 1:2 rota basis.

The Rota

This is a full-time, permanent night position working one week on and two weeks off (Monday–Monday), with night shifts from 19:30 to 08:30.

The Hospital

This busy 24-hour hospital is one of three in the group, comprising 8 consulting rooms, 3 theatres, a dental x-ray suite, and an in-house CT scanner. The hospital handles a varied caseload with regular medical, surgical, and weekly orthopaedic procedures. Separate dog and cat wards, along with a dedicated ICU ward, ensure optimal patient care and comfort.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide overnight inpatient care, assist in theatre, support emergency procedures, and triage cases. The role involves working closely with the veterinary team to maintain clinical standards and ensure a high level of patient welfare throughout the night.

The Ideal Candidate

A qualified RVN with a passion for ECC and inpatient care

ECC Experience Is Advantageous But Not Essential

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, emergency environment

Strong prioritisation and organisational skills

Equipment

The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, CT scanner, dental x-ray suite, ultrasound, and dedicated ICU facilities.
