Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care's Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is seeking a confident RVN to join our night team as a Veterinary Nurse on a part-time basis. You will deliver high‑quality care in our dedicated wards and support complex cases during out‑of‑hours shifts.

The role offers both part-time (4 on, 10 off; 19:00–08:00; average 26 hours/week) and full-time (39 hours/week on 3 nights with 1:4 weekends). Registration with the RCVS and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in OOHs and ward nursing.
• Experience with complex cases in referral/advanced-care settings.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and governance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing care in our Wards facility during night shifts.
• Support case management of complex medical and surgical inpatients.
• Collaborate with night team to inform clinical decisions and improve standards.
