Job description

Role Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

1. Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
2. Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
3. Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule three activities.
4. Deliver patient monitoring and care.
5. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
6. Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
7. Dispense and check medication.
8. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
9. Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Experience working effectively as part of a team.
• Experience supporting nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
• Experience using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of colleagues.
