Job summary

Stobart is seeking a Transport Shift Manager for its Wentworth site in the United Kingdom. The role is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday nights, 18:00–04:00, and responsibilities spanning resource planning, driver performance, and compliance oversight.

• Proven track record in Transport & Logistics industry
• Demonstrable experience of successful resource management
• Excellent organisation and communication skills; proven KPI delivery

• Excellent communication in a customer-facing environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Myworkforce team to ensure compliant, cost-efficient driver utilisation.
• Own and monitor the driver de-briefing process to meet performance standards.
• Manage driver workforce and maintain records in accordance with procedures.
• Conduct investigations and handle grievances when required.
• Manage driver performance to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Promote Health & Safety policies within the transport operation.
