Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Transport Operator for the Grange Park site in Northampton on a permanent, full-time night shift, Sundays to Thursdays, 22:00 to 06:30.

You will coordinate deliveries and collections, plan routes, brief drivers, and maintain records while ensuring compliance with WTD and EU Driver Regulations. The role offers stability, development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Transport Operator or Transport Planner role.
• Strong route planning skills.
• Knowledge of Working Time Directives and EU Driver Regulations and fleet procedures.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Confident communication and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries and collections at Grange Park site to ensure drivers complete routes safely and on time.
• Plan and update routes; brief and debrief drivers; ensure required gear and paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records and handle issues to keep the transport operation running smoothly.
• Record abnormalities and update paperwork; ensure compliance with WTD and EU regulations; follow site procedures.
