Duties & Responsibilities

• Dealing with multiple drivers.
• Communicating with ports.
• Booking delivery slots for port entry.
• Using the TOPS transport system for scheduling drivers’ start and finish times.
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring punctuality.
• Rerouting jobs as needed.
• Checking all PODs are matched with the correct jobs on the system.
• Communicating with customers about possible delays and advising ETAs.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential.
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
• Willing to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Quick and efficient problem-solving skills.
• Organised at all times.
• Flexible to meet business demands.
