Job description

Please note this role is permanent Nights based - You must hold a CPC/Digicard and FLT license to apply.

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and very hands on Transport Night Manager/Class 1 Driver to join our clients busy site in Telford.

The rate of pay is £36,000 -38,000 per annum, plus bonus and allowances.

Monday to Friday nights - shift starts at 17:30, 52.5 hours per week.

Your Time at Work

This is a key leadership role ensuring the smooth running of our overnight transport operations, guaranteeing that deliveries are met on time and in full, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

The Role

• Provide leadership and motivation to your team
• Ensure sufficient staffing levels are always in place
• Using your experience, you will load and shunt vehicles this is a hands on management role
• Clear communication to both staff and customers
• Ensure load sheets for the warehouse are correct and all vehicle and trailer maintenance records and requirements are in hand
